HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER – TILBURY PORT (NIGHTS)

DESCRIPTION

Max Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client based at Tilbury Port.

This position offers night shifts on a temporary ongoing basis, delivering to builders’ merchants using a Class 1 vehicle.

There is no handball involved — all loading and unloading is carried out by warehouse staff, so you’ll simply wait while they handle it.

SHIFT DETAILS

• Night shifts, typically up to 10 hours.

• Deliveries to various builders’ merchant locations.

• Waiting time only – no physical loading/unloading.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.

• UK Digital Tachograph Card.

• Full CPC (Driver Qualification Card).

• Full UK Licence (with right to work in the UK).

• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.

• Basic understanding of English.

• Own PPE required:

  • Safety boots

  • Hard hat
