Description:

Max Recruitment is looking for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our own agency fleet operating across the UK on Amazon Relay contracts.

Drivers will be assigned their own truck, which they will keep for the full working week (Monday to Friday or Saturday depending on workload).

This is a tramping role, requiring night outs during the week.

To qualify, drivers must have a valid and active Amazon Relay account.

Main duties include:

  • Driving to and from Amazon depots across the UK.

  • Checking that loads are securely placed and safely transported.

  • Opening rear trailer doors when required.

  • No manual loading or unloading.

  • Waiting times within Amazon depots (included in shift pay).

Amazon sites offer excellent facilities including free coffee, tea, water, soft drinks, fruit, and entertainment areas (such as pool tables and games).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.

  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

  • Active Amazon Relay account (essential).

  • Minimum 6 months of UK experience.

  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
