HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER MAIDSTONE– GENERAL HAULAGE

DESCRIPTION

Max Recruitment, on behalf of our trusted client George’s Trans Ltd, is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for permanent full-time work based in Maidstone (ME15 area).

This position involves general haulage across various UK routes. Drivers will start each day from the Maidstone yard and operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries and collections.

This is a stable, long-term opportunity with consistent shifts and a fixed daily rate.

Main duties include:

• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

• Completing planned deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.

• Maintaining accurate paperwork and communication with the transport office.

• Ensuring compliance with driving hours and regulations.

Shifts are typically up to 12 hours, and pay is a fixed rate of £200 per shift.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.

• Valid Right to Work in the UK (mandatory).

• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Minimum 2 years of UK Class 1 driving experience.

• Previous general haulage experience preferred.

• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious.
