WE ARE HIRING – HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS – PURFLEET

Max Recruitment is looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to support our client’s operations in the Purfleet (RM19) area.

The role involves general haulage, including container work, curtainside deliveries, and Amazon trunking.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally

• Completing trunking and general haulage runs

• Working with containers, curtainsiders, and Amazon trunk routes

• Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

• Maintaining accurate paperwork and tacho compliance

• Communicating effectively with planners and site staff

• Ensuring load security at all times

Pay Rates

🎄 December Enhanced Rate (Christmas 2025):

• £210 fixed daily rate

• + £17 per hour overtime after 12 hours

From January onwards:

• £190 fixed daily rate

• + £15 per hour overtime

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) driving licence

• Driver CPC qualification

• Digital tachograph card

• Experience with containers or curtainside trailers preferred

• LTD company or self-employed status

• Good communication and reliability

• Eligibility to work in the UK
