DESCRIPTION

Max Recruitment is hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers for Amazon Relay daily shifts, operating from our client’s yard located in Purfleet (Tank Hill Road).

This role involves daily trunking and trailer movements across the Amazon Relay network. Drivers will handle pre-loaded trailers only, with no loading or unloading required.

You will return to the same yard at the end of each shift – this is not a tramping position.

Main duties include:

  • Collecting and returning tractor units and trailers to/from the Purfleet yard.

  • Driving to Amazon depots nationwide for trailer exchanges.

  • Following route and operational instructions accurately.

  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining professional standards.

  • Staying in touch via WhatsApp for updates and coordination.

Shifts can last up to 15 hours, with overtime paid after 12 hours and 45 minutes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.

  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

  • Minimum 6 months of UK driving experience.

  • Active Amazon Relay account (preferred but not essential).

  • Punctual, professional, and flexible with shift times.
